"TRADMARKING" a product is serious business. Just want to expand on my last post. I have "TM'd" products myself. You just put a little TM to the upper right of the product name on the product or packaging, and then have fine print below saying something like "Day Of The Dead Candy is a trademark of Dennis48, Anytown, USA". Simple. Then if you can document some sales, you can apply for the coveted REGISTERED TRADEMARK... the "Circle R". A "TM" is pretty meaningless... worthless... a "Circle R" is gold.

I might have further thoughts to share on this subject... but might wait until a lawyer chimes in. I'm not a lawyer... just a former advertising guy. GLTA and GO NRTI. It's coming.
