You see on the surface the Col character had that great line and appeared to represent all that is direct and honest and tough and in your face and forthright in the military and of course was played by a tough great actor in Jack N. who seems to represent that way of living in reality too. Since AF does little to no research and only follows what is popular he failed to realize what the Col character really represented. It all makes sense now doesn't it. AF is a complete fool and he proves it every time he opens his mouth, AF wouldn't know the truth if it smacked him on the side of his head, the dummy.
