We get sick and we have prayed and prayed for healing and 6 months have passed and we are still sick. We lose our job and have prayed for another but a year has gone by and still out of work. Unexpected bills hit us and we get behind in our finances and we pray for a way out and with the house close to foreclosure we see no answer to our prayer. A loved one is unsaved and we have been praying for them for years and they still have no interest in the things of Jesus. So many life altering events can walk into our paths at any given time and sometimes we pray and pray and we just dont seem to be hearing from God. We are born-again, we faithfully go to church and serve Jesus. We even tithe our money and help others as best we can and we witness to folks...we seem to be doing what God would want us to do. So, why is the Lord our God not answering our prayers? Its hard sometimes isnt it? We know that God loves us more than we can truly imagine. We know He is faithful to care for us. We know He will never leave or forsake us. We just dont understand why God sometimes seem to be ignoring us! Folks, as hard as it is sometimes, we just have to keep in mind that God has a perfect plan. God is the only one that sees the big picture and Hes not just looking at today but also many years down the road of our life. We simply are not suppose to understand everything we just have to keep our faith and trust in Jesus and know that whatever is going on...it is going on for a reason...a Godly reason! And most often that reason is to help us grow in our faith...grow in our relationship and to become more like Jesus through our trials and hardships. Just remember this. If we are not rewarded for our faithfulness while here on earth...you can believe that we will be rewarded when we get to heaven and thats truly what it is all about!
