Very well stated.
In my earlier response to jaiml re: LD-AIM, I mentioned consecutive Sells.
My experience in that regard is that the most # on the sell side without intervening Buys was with CREE between April, 2009 and March of 2010, where I did in fact sell out of Actual Shares.
By July of 2010 I had already started a new program on CREE.

Those 9 consecutive Sells were at:
25.00 (preceding Buy was @ 20.00)
31.50
34.75
38.50
42.00
48.00
54.00
62.00
70.00 (subsequent restart was @ 59.50)

I mention Cree becasue it fell like a rock today and closed down almost 18% @ 17.28 after reporting earnings late yesterday.
Since that restart in 2010 I've had Buys as low as 24.25 (10/20/11) and Sells as high as 73.96 (8/12/13).

How's that for volatility capture? smile
