New Economy Portfolio Update...Bought a stock that I see moving much higher into the end of the year and could be a solid trade short-term.

Alert..bought solid starter of $RMTI at $10.05 & $10.10 in the New Economy Portfolio. Company has an ADCOM date on Nov 6th and a PDUFA date in January 2015. This stock was #2 on my radared list of weekly stocks via the BCS (Bowl Countdown Sheff) Countdown.

Chardan Global affirms Rockwell Medical (Nasdaq: RMTI) at Buy with a price target of $22 following news that the company entered into an exclusive long-term agreement with Baxter Healthcare to commercialize market its hemodialysis concentrate products in the U.S. and select oversea markets.

Analyst Ling Wang commented, “The much improved balance sheet should eliminate near term financing risk before the key catalyst of Triferic's PDUFA date on January 2014, 2015. Significant progress was made lately for both Triferic and Calcitriol. Triferic PDUFA date was set on January 24, 2015. Calcitriol manufacturing facility was approved by the FDA, with market launch expected by YE14. We expect RMTI shares to have significant upside to be driven by the potential regulatory approval of Triferic for iron replacement therapy for CKD patients on dialysis by its PDUFA date. In our view, Triferic is a disruptive iron replacement therapy. We believe Triferic's unique ability to treat iron deficiency while safely reducing the usage of ESA and not increasing iron stores will allow it to quickly change the treatment paradigm of the iron replacement therapy in hemodialysis patients. We expect a fast adoption and tremendous pricing flexibility driven by Triferic's strong value proposition combined with a changing reimbursement environment.”
