European stocks rose and the euro fell on reports that the European Central Bank is considering buying corporate bonds, a move that would beef up its program aimed at stimulating the continent's sickly economy.
The Stoxx Europe 600 was trading 1.5% higher. Germany's DAX was up 1.5% and France's CAC 40 rose 1.7%. Italy's FTSE Mib index climbed by 2.3%.
