Very simple correlation on technology offered by DDD...

Currently, if a corporation wants to build a prototype on plastic injection molded products, they need to:

1. Develop and make the tool ($100k to upwards of $400k depending on the product).
2. Minimum runs before it actually makes sense to plastic injection mold the product (usually 500+ at a minimum, but usually 1,000).

All this costs an incredible amount of money to 'test' new products...

With 3D printing...

1. Autocad the design.
2. Print test runs to see if product is viable.
3. Run 10, not 100s or 1000s...

See folks, the future is here in this technology. Additive manufacturing, not subtractive manufacturing. We're poised to explode...sooner rather than later...

It's my money tree. It's watered with hours of painstaking study and constant learning. Occasionally, I'll give it a good shake, continue watering, and more will grow back.
