I would imagine many many uses for the machine. Not only the demonstration of prints with versus without the PrintRite enhancement, but also the collection of data by Sigma during those builds to be used to further develop PrintRite on the journey to controlling the weld pool. I would love it if there were enough OEMs seeking full info about PrintRite that the EOS290 would be in constant motion, however I doubt that is the reality. More likely it will be mixed use with some use being for demonstration/validation purposes and some for contract printing for companies which have no near term ability to invest in a printer and develop the necessary expertise. No reason at all to imagine that during "down time" that Sigma may well do some nozzle manufacturing. I would rather see the machine being used at capacity or near capacity rather than sitting idle. Each increment to the revenue chain will be of value, supporting the next effort at augmenting revenues. I do not see this machine as being used for a single purpose but rather it will open doors to uses and revenues that currently do not exist for Sigma. Perhaps it could even support a spin off company strictly for contract manufacturing. lots of possibilities matched only by lots of speculation!! including mine

patience and GLTA
