News out on $ECOB .0006

VISTA, Calif., Oct. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Eco Building Products, Inc., (ECOB) announced today that the Company has launched a Holiday Fire Awareness Campaign in support of America's Homeless Veterans alongside ECOB's newest New Jersey-based Certified Defensive Partner, Builders' General Supply Company (BGS).

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs estimates that 131,000 veterans are homeless on any given night, representing between one fourth and one-fifth of all homeless people, and approximately twice that many experience homelessness over the course of a year. Conservatively, one out of every three homeless men who is sleeping in a doorway, alley or box in our cities and rural communities has put on a uniform and served this country.

With four locations in New Jersey, BGS will serve as the support, point-of-purchase, and pick-up location for Eco's bottled eco-friendly Christmas tree spray, Eco Christmas Tree Protection™. Well in advance of the Holiday season, the plan of attack is to call on the local communities surrounding BGS locations as we seek to gain support for our Homeless Veterans. Interested parties can stop by anyone of the 4 BGS locations to make their purchase, starting right after Thanksgiving. For every bottle of Christmas Tree Protection purchased, ECOB will donate $5 to support a Homeless Veteran's organization. With this campaign in full effect, the time honored tradition of cutting and decorating a real Christmas Tree can now be made safer while everyone involved will have the opportunity to support our Veterans that are down on their luck.

Phil Shaheen, Executive Vice President of Builders' General Supply Company says "Let's Go!" In recent conversation with Eco's President Steve Conboy, Phil commented that his organization wants to be a part of hiring Veterans and supporting what Eco is doing with its' Hire a Veteran campaign. Having recently completed the Eco Defensive Partner Certification Program, BGS has certified their entire sales team as Defensive Partners. Upon completion of the certification process, BGS ordered two pallets of Eco Disaster Break™ (EDB) as they have plans of teaching their portfolio of builders how to defend against rising tides along the Jersey Shore.
