It seems like if Inovio took the initiative to start producing doses now, if we got to a potential epidemic situation, they could jump in with ready doses. I would hope the government had already tapped the shoulders of lots of vaccine companies saying "can you start making some vaccines - we'll foot the bill." The company that saves our lives, they will be the hero, not the government. The interesting aspect of all of this is that, now that people are peering into the companies making vaccines, they are learning about Inovio's unique approach. In the short term and long term, this is great for the company.
