WRIT's Retro Infinity to Brand Tonight’s Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series Cars

Retro Infinity Inc., publisher of classic video games deployed in mobile devices, announced today that it will be the primary brand on both Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series cars in at NASCAR’s event at Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend. The cars will be driven by veteran driver Carlos Contreras and the emerging Timmy Hill.

This will mark Carlos Contreras’s 99th NASCAR race tonight in the Drive for the Cure 300, sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield. Race history will be in the making as Contreras is set to become the first Mexican driver to eclipse the impressive race total. Saturday evening will feature Timmy Hill, 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year. Hill will be wearing the Retro Infinity brand while leading the team’s No. 33 Sprint Cup Chevrolet in the Bank of America 500.

Eric Mitchell, WRIT Media Chief Executive Officer, stated, “Through the RWR Retro Infinity NASCAR team, we have been driving valuable brand awareness to our mobile gaming products, and have gained broad exposure via NASCAR’s national televised events and social media campaigns surrounding such events. We expect to continue this success through the championship weekend in November. As proud sponsors of the Rick Ware Racing, we wish both drivers success this weekend.”

Driver Carlos Contreras added, “This will definitely be a weekend to remember. We’re excited to be racing for the Retro Infinity brand and I look forward to helping WRIT Media Group make an impact on the gaming community as we race towards the finish line.”

Notably, Rick Ware Racing (RWR) has raced in every NASCAR sanctioned series including ARCA Series, the WMA Motocross Series, AMA Arenacross, Summer X-Games, Motocross and Supercross Series and the Rolex Grand-Am Series.

Since 2007, WRIT Media Group has worked as a digital media company with two operating divisions, Front Row Networks, a content creation company providing production, distribution and financing of live concerts, music documentaries, and family programs for theatrical and ancillary distribution; and the “retro” video gaming division, made up of Retro Infinity Inc. and Amiga Games Inc., which are videogame publishers of classic games for a wide range of smartphone, mobile, and TV set-top devices.
