There is no end game here ... And my post had quite a lot to do with the post you responded to ... These are global issues because that is how things work right now.

We are supposed to live within a constitution that declares us to be a republic, and not a democracy. That means we stand up for the minorities, whomever they may be, and protect their individual rights. Mostly because democracy is the tyranny of the majority or the 51%. However one wishes to think about it.
