ANAHEIM, CA, Sep 24, 2014 (Marketwired via COMTEX) -- Advanced Defense Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ADCF) announced short term plans that include extension of its patented low loss wideband high power handling phased array technology (RF beam steering technology) to the high power up-link RF antenna systems. Currently these up-link systems employ pointing parabolic dish antennas which are very large and expensive driven by motors and gimbals.

"The RF antenna that is small compact size having electronically steered beam capability is needed to track the satellite for optimum receive signal power. Such a cost effective RF antenna system can be implemented without major modifications to the current ADTI design," R.S. Tahim, President and CEO of Advanced Defense Technologies Inc., stated. ADTI anticipates a number of initiatives to accelerate the commercialization efforts.
