I am concerned that something has fundamentally changed. There has been only one new contract announced in the past 5 months (Bioenergy Resources in Jamaica). The Selectra-Harmony Gold Project is an extension of the test in 2013 - it must be covered under the previous contract with Selectra since no new contract has been announced. It may be getting more difficult to get new contracts as global oil, natural gas prices fall. Solar prices have also dropped in half in the past few years. There also has obviously been some experimentation done with other biomass options leading to greater competition, eg super Napier. I also find it disturbing that the reason that Tibbar's biodigester supplier went bankrupt was because many of their biogas clients were unable to pay what they owed them. indicating a fundamental weakness in the business model of these projects.
