If WG is supposedly scrambling to get investment money- without a doubt he would be attending. Yet he isn't. Why not? Also, as a recent board member of Azbio, he definitely would have been going.
Gartner/GCDx is not attending "White Hat Investors 2014 Summit" because he knows shortly they will be taken care of as per the Takeover Merger. There is simply no reason to attend if your company has made "better arrangements" for itself.
