Maybe they just got a tip regarding the news late friday. Maybe they are trying to "mask" the buy for the general market. Maybe it was MMs vacuum cleaning before taking PPS through the next stair steps...
A lot of scenarios can be set up.
My main take from this action is that this was a huge buy within a few minutes - you cannot sell 2 mio shares after hours in a retail market - especially when dealing a stock like PVCT that has been hammered by bashers like PVCT has.
