I think the Koreans(Sollensys) are still trying to make it work, just now in a partnership with a Canadian company called Orca Touchscreen Technologies Ltd. Orca has the rights to distribute Sollensys products.

For whatever reason they gave up on SOLS, however, they may still end up as a public company in the US via ORTFF. It looks like ORTFF is a new offering that went from Grey market to Pink current 2 days ago.
