Here is a yearly graph of TNKE shorting. The largest short positions were in May as you can see from the chart that was one of the biggest volume days also. I think we can expect to see a cover in the near future which will be to the benefit of longs. Hope this helps to understand why the pps doesn't move up with ask volume. We don't know the exact source of the shorting whether it's individuals or insiders but here is the additional proof. Just enter TNKE symbol in the box for 1 month to one year and you will see the short volume in RED.
