OK...ill toot my own horn a little this morning and AMEN to what you are saying here. i try very hard to speak, nod my head....smile...say hello to as many people i can. Also, if i get the chance...shake their hand...give a hug...blah blah blah!....and... i try and start a conversation to everyone i can. Now of course im not in peoples face so to speak and i know we are all busy so there are limitations and time constraints...but...i try and let the light of Jesus shine from me ...well...all the time!
And.... if i get to talk to someone..be it at a gathering...on the street...where ever...and we talk for 5 or more minutes...i dont care who they are...i without hesitation tell them of who i use to be...the hippie doper and alcoholic and what Jesus did for me...as the old song goes...
I love to tell the story,
'twill be my theme in glory,
to tell the old, old story
of Jesus and his love.
We also have to remember....often times what we DONT do is just as much a sin as what we do!
As Bonnie Ricks always ended her devotionals with....
"Think about it!"
