80% is a lot
now I might hedge and say it will all be "negotiated"
let the GOV make enough money to look good but get rid of the sr pfds and capitalize F and F
IMO that REQUIRES some further capital infusion into F and F
looking at Fannie alone
Maybe set a price of say 18-20 bucks a share for an IPO of 2 billion shares. 66% new owners - old owners 33% - gov declares money paid so far as payment in full with 10% !! and F gets the capital it needs to compete
(this is based off a guess that a market leading Fannie is worth about 40-80 Billion in market cap)
now if the GOV starts to limit the space and size of F and force them alone to do certain things - well then the GOV should put up more of the capital and dilute less
I will take 18 bucks a share and for this nonsense to be over (and per my economics have a non loan producing entity as the largest bundler/insurer of paper)
