lando: I believe you have a few things mixed up.

The infringement trial, will be a jury trial scheduled for five days. Among Nokia's defenses they alleged inequitable conduct by IDCC. The parties agreed that rather than have the jury decide that issue they would leave that up to the Judge. As noted in the Judge's order below, he allotted six hours for hearing their arguments on that issue to take place when the trial was finished and the jury was out to come up with their decision regarding infringement. I imagine the Judge would issue his decision on the inequitable conduct defense very quickly.
