I agree with you about the signature drinks but it only works if people can readily buy Marani. It isn't going to work if people have to mail order Marani or make a special trip to Costco. They may still make the drink, but they will use Grey Goose, Absolute or some other substitute. With really good vodka, the vodka taste should not stand out too much.
