Technically, a registrant does not have to pay the auditor for a 10Q, but does have to pay for the audit and catch up on the past due bill from the 10Qs before consenting on the 10K.

The next report is the 10K audit, and $768 is not going to pay the audit and the past due 10Q expenses. They might get a three hour phone call the auditor with that, but not enough to pay for the phone bill.
