Not being very tech savvy I'm trying to understand how our card would prevent someone stealing it and using it to make an online purchase. If I can make a purchase then why can't someone else?...Does the thumb print activate a series of numbers that I will see but otherwise don't?....or will computers have built in readers?....

I'm sure some brilliant mind out there will explain
