Some interesting tib bits from Joe Miller. He spoke about structuring IP and partnerships so not to compromise LWLG's competitive position. He voiced concerns about reverse engineering. He said that LWLG could provide a partner with a device or a material structured in such a way that its initial performance can be later improved (offer a pathway to increased performance)- degrees of freedom.

I remember 2-3 years ago David Eaton voicing concerns about protecting our IP. He emphatically stated LWLG cannot put everything out in its patents because of potential competition. He said LWLG must also rely on the law of trade secrets to protect unpatented technology and know-how.

IMHO, this is some of what has been holding things up. In light of George Lauro's recent efforts, there appears to be a clear path forward.
