Decided to head over to "the moat" to check it out. Seems quite possibly true.. If it is, he has probably been progression free for some 10 months now (while on DCVax-Direct). Trial criteria:

Subjects with a histological or cytopathological confirmed diagnosis of a locally advanced or metastatic solid tumor malignancy for which primary treatment is no longer effective or does not offer curative or life-prolonging potential per clinician judgment, with the understanding that DCVax-Direct is not intended as a treatment of last resort.

Life expectation of > 3 months.

I imagine if he was diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer 6 months before his first dose in the trial (according to that poster), and knowing how aggressive panc cancer is, I would guess he was given not a very long life expectancy. Considering it only has to be above 3 months (if you were told you have 4 months to live you may be accepted into the Direct trial), and that in total, from the time of diagnosis until now, it has been 16 months, progression free, that is certainly noteworthy.

Considering also he was one of the 9 of 9 that had received at least 4 vaccinations. So, no progression has been accounted for.

Airing on National Geographic Sept 5. Now it only has to be true ;)
