The product is cheaper than the packaging. Not such a good deal here. More than likely, profit margin out the window!

Manufacturing process must be in place to accommodate such packaging demands. Hopefully this is a lesson learned and modification to processing can be utilized in future orders so cost to do so is minimized and negotiated pricing recoups cost of 'changes on the fly'.
