The interesting thing about the holdings/takeover/% of ownership is that in this very small company the value of it is basically in the two main people involved. Mark and Vivek. If they had wanted to work for GE they would have just done that already. I think they see a much bigger value in building Sigma over the next 5-10 years. It is difficult in this case, for a company who wanted to buy them to successfully buy and incorporate their science without their willing consent.
