I disagree once again with the poster on the other board talking about the public announcement of seismic data. It is not the obligation of the company who performs the service of gathering and processing the data to make it public,. It is the choice of the Oil Company who hires them to do the shoot when and whether to announce the results.

He is also wrong about the timing of the announcement by Taipan of the Sproule reserve data and evaluation. It was several months after the completion of the 2D shoot that was made public. The above are facts not half baked opinions.
