Just wanted to add that we also have a position open for an FPGA
programmer. This is probably more of a longshot for this group of
folks. But you never know! This person would more likely be a
contract position and we are open (expecting actually) to having
someone working remotely. However, full-time application with
these qualifications also would be great!

Senior FPGA Designer

Job Summary

NanoTech Gaming Labs is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer who will be
responsible for design, implementation and bring-up of FPGA based
hardware for production.

Key Qualifications:

* 2-10 years related experience
* Strong Digital Design Engineering Background
* Logic Design and verification using Verilog and System Verilog
* Designing keeping in mind FPGA (Xilinx series) features and limitations.
* Good knowledge of FPGA tool (Xilinx Kintex 7 is a big plus) constraining
for FPGA synthesis.
* Good programming (C/C++) and scripting skills (Perl/Python) is a plus.
* Knowledge of Display protocols like display port and HDMI is a big plus.

Description:

* Develop the micro-architecture and implement the RTL design and
verification for FPGA based targets
* Perform Synthesis/Place & Route, timing optimizations and lab
bring-up of implemented designs.
* Work independently and manage deliverables to align with project
goals and collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, product
design, software and other teams.
* Good communication, analytical and documentation skills required.

Education

BSEE / MSEE or equivalent
