Instead of higher number of shares being available on the open market AAL will buy them and retire them. The total number of shares is thus reduced and the value is supposedly higher for the rest since there is less of them. Only problem is, there is nothing AAL can do that will raise the PPS short of.....how did that go again, cure cancer. LMAO
