I believe that both statements are true, professor.

The first actually names NNVC as not compensating, while the second is boilerplate disclosure.

The complete quote, including the identification of the promoter:

I'll break it down for you:
Stock Professors was not directly compensated by NanoViricides.
However, Raven Consulting Corp WAS compensated by NanoViricides.
Per the Stockprofessors. com disclaimer:
"This website is a service of Raven Consulting, Corp., a financial public relations firm that has been compensated by the companies profiled."

This laundering process is typical in the promotional arena and its purpose is clear....it allows the company that is being promoted (or people speaking on their behalf) to say that it hasn't compensated the firm that is doing the promoting even though it is compensating a third party.

I know what boilerplate disclosure is and that's not it.
