We have a lot of web apps at work and I can get status and update and review things on a tablet (phone is too small) but I really don't like creating any work product on a tablet. I know that I could hook up a keyboard and run a VNC session but on an 8/10 inch screen?

The other useful thing that I can do with a tablet is to basically replace paper. I can put something on it and bring it to someone in another office and show it to them. It saves me from walking to the printer room (which is fairly far away) if I want to discuss something with them.

We have desktops and laptops at work. If you want a tablet, you can buy it yourself.
