I am surprised you seem to be having such a problem with the Pharmakon deal. My guess is you are looking at this deal from a post AdComm point of view, when in reality the deal was made before the ambush. I'm sure the Pharmakon was licking its chops over the $50mil easy money they were going to make and were only too ready to make concessions, big concessions that virtually nobody thought would come into play.

The reality is there is not going to be a 2017 day of reckoning. Payments simply get pushed back. There is little anxiety here. By this time either the FDA has granted the sNDA for mixed dyslipidemia or they havent, R-IT is either a success of a failure. At this point either Amarin can give them their "Threshold Payment" of $150mil or not. It will be pocket money, or Pharmakon will be holding some worthless patents..
