...the Patent they are about to license and commercialize, is all about regenerating adult cells not embryonic ones - this is the first 'big deal' about this whole TCEL possible mega move upcoming; especially with only a 500 million AS.

We all have adult cells, they exist in all parts of our body....so no controversial embryonic cells are needed if TCEL or any stem cell/bio company can use these plentiful adult cells; adult cells dont after a time divide and regenerate like embryonic ones, and its the great Science and biotech next advancement of our time to accomplish this: imagine your own adult cells being able to say re-grow parts of your heart, liver, pancreas, joints, etc and etc....without the fear of your own bodies rejection.

Here is first their Patent, which was first filed for in 2007....then was approved for a Patent n 2013, a stem cell/regenerative Patent that would be huge for any biotech company to now own.....:

http://pdfpiw.uspto.gov/.piw?Docid=08372644&homeurl=http%3A%2F%2Fpatft.uspto.gov%2Fnetacgi%2Fnph-Parser%3FSect1%3DPTO1%2526Sect2%3DHITOFF%2526d%3DPALL%2526p%3D1%2526u%3D%25252Fnetahtml%25252FPTO%25252Fsrchnum.htm%2526r%3D1%2526f%3DG%2526l%3D50%2526s1%3D8,372,644.PN.%2526OS%3DPN%2F8,372,644%2526RS%3DPN%2F8,372,644&PageNum=&Rtype=&SectionNum=&idkey=NONE&Input=View+first+page

And here is the key (...dare say massive) wording of their Patent, the one that they are now on verge of licensing and then commercializing - what does their stem cell regenerative Invention claim to do?:

"It is well known that many animal and plant cells may be grown in vitro. However, certain cells, particularly adult or non-embryonic cells, are severely limited in their ability to divide and grow. Cellular growth is not limited by genetic models of memory. Instead, cellular growth is limited by "spatial compaction." For example, organs stop growing due to pressure from the peri or covering material of the organ.

Accordingly, it would be desirable to develop methodologies for processing non-embryonic cells so that the cells grow and divide unimpeded as if they were embryonic cells. "

...and more...:

" The above-mentioned need is met by the present invention, one embodiment of which includes a method for growing adult cells that includes harvesting a tissue sample from a subject and breaking the tissue sample into fragments. The fragments are placed into a culture vessel, and at least some of the fragments are induced to adhere to the culture vessel. The fragments are supplied with nutrients so that adult cells contained therein divide and grow.

The present invention and its advantages over the prior art will be more readily understood upon reading the following detailed description. ...:"

...you can read Dr. Casey and their Therapy Cell (TCEL) New Zealand biotech teams examples and further explanation of the above here in the exact wording of their Patent, for they got a Patent saying they have this solution to effectively divide adult stem cells, like they were embryonic ones. :

"A method for growing adult cells includes harvesting a tissue sample from a subject and breaking the tissue sample into fragments. The fragments are placed into a culture vessel, and at least some of the fragments are induced to adhere to the culture vessel. The fragments are supplied with nutrients so that adult cells contained therein divide and grow."

...now read up what TCEL is saying on their home page:

Therapy Cells has developed a novel and highly efficient method of growing tendon and articular cartilage for auto transplantation into individual, affected patients. Our company has developed new cell theory that dispenses with the notion that cells can not divide once they are fully mature. We have shown that adult cells, given the right environment, can in fact divide and be grown in the laboratory.

The company’s new approach to cell growth has already been applied to the repair of tendons and joints. The technology has also been applied to the re-growth of pancreas and heart tissue. Rejection does not occur as the new cells are from that individual and are recognised by the body as non foreign. It is our belief that this new method of cell growth will be successfully used for cell and organ repair in many parts of the human body.

...then we found out today that very soon new licensing/commercialization deals are going to occur with this major regenerative adult stem cell Patent and biotech they own...and that for the next 21.5 years, giving TCEL a truly long term buy and hold mentality going forward:

. Therapy Cells (2000) Ltd

A New Zealand Company

Commercializing USPatent #8,372,644

Time to expiry of this patent

21.5 Years

*Therapy Cells announces its licensed partners and offers NEW licenses 23 July 2014

This technology has been established to develop and commercialize a unique method of tissue transplantation to aid in the repair and regeneration of damaged, diseased, torn or ruptured musculoskeletal cells and organs in the human."

..then finally, the biggest most bullish biotech penny claim i have ever seen made....says it all here very plainly:

. This Patent applies to all cells for all species so the cell lines and opportunities are literally endless!

.... Well, with all the above now about to be further licensed under new partnerships then commercialized, and an AS of less then 500 million, to me seeing the immense buys and sells today, and the almost 500 mil in volume -- just tells me those with a lot of money can read and do a little DD too, lol; the above is all there for anyone to read, and we may have all found the next huge biotech/stem cell penny runner. Similar biotech penny stocks with billions AS or OS or float have gone a few cents or way more (i.e. BMS* and ACT*) on nothing but future potential....: so what can TCEL do with NEW licensing and even commercialization?
