Tiger Woods name is a recognizable brand. Regardless of his future performance, he is one of the top 2 golfers who has ever lived, and just about everyone on the planet knows who he is.

It's not necessarily about MusclePharm being able to say they nursed Tiger back to life with their products. It's more so for consumers who are unfamiliar with the MP brand. A Tiger Woods branded drink, energy bar, etc. draws in consumers who otherwise wouldn't know what MP is.
