August 6, after the market close. Look at the debt ratios. SD is a debt play just as much as it's an oil play.

One of the things holding SD back is the worry that higher interest rates will make it tougher for them to climb out of the hole they're in. My thought is that improving debt ratios will have a more powerful positive effect on share price than an earnings beat.

On the other hand, static or deteriorating ratios will kill share price.
