That's my recollection as well syscat.

They equivicated quite a bit at the time.

AND it seems that since the battery configurations that were on the table back then were all single activation types (not rechargable) once their initial physical barriers had been disrupted - the fact that the JumpStarters are rechargable would seem to argue that they either were not using that technology in the Jumpstarters, or that they had figured a way around the barrier & single initiation issues that has not been publically discussed.

Since historically - XDSL's management would drop a PR at the drop of a hat when something 'new' had been accomplished, or when a bit of patentable tech was developed - that advance in their battery configuration tech would seem to have merited a lot of PRs and crowing.

A strangely absent thing,.... kind of noticable.
