If it is any comfort, I have known some incredibly successful businessmen that have been taken in by the lure of a "sure-thing" gold mine that never produced an ounce. They are okay, just wrote it off as a bad investment and moved on.

The ones I feel really sorry for are folks that couldn't afford to lose their investment, and truly thought it was the best home for their retirement fund. There are all too many of those. Pocklington and his group (Gunner Gold) target them specifically and they need to be shut down.
