ANOTHER FIVE STAR PRODUCT REVIEW OUT OF COSTCO:

"I bought MediPendant for my elderly friend. She doesn’t have a landline but uses the Verizon “Home Phone Connect” service that uses cell phone airwaves. Thus, I had to spend several minutes with a MediPendant tech person to reprogram the unit - he was very patient and soon had the service working perfectly. A help desk is summoned by pressing the main button on the pendant, which I would characterize as a small and light speakerphone. Reception is crystal clear. A small white button on the pendant can be pressed to check the battery level and system operation. My friend and I were a bit unhappy with the product inappropriately announcing that “help is on the way". I appreciate that a lockbox for a home entry key comes with the product. The default 4 digit combination can be changed, but I ruined the set screw in unsuccessfully trying to turn it. The aluminum set screw must be turned with a screwdriver blade that is very thick relative to width, and the set screw is inaccessible by a wider blade because it’s recessed. A MediPendant person suggested that I use a paperclip on the screw, and when that didn’t work I was offered a replacement lockbox. Overall, the product is excellent and cost efficient."
