I think most of us are aware of these "sweet for Cognate" deals, but they are also putting up substantial funding enabling extensive manufacturing capacity.

Since we're throwing conspiracy theories out there, might it be true that except for the most aggressive brain metastasis, and blood and bone cancers, DCVax Direct and L spell an end for terminal cancer illness? Especially when combined with electroporation or other combination therapies that do not subject the organism's cells to mass death? Resection and L when possible, or Direct in inoperable cases until shrinkage (and some systemic effects) enable resection, and then L (the patented version in Direct) in tandem. If no aggressive chemo cocktails can touch GBM, but L has been shown effective (perhaps unequivocally so, in short order), why use chemo at all? If it is ousted in one indication (actually 3, in early stage trials), then it will likely be ousted in them all.

Of course, resection is still very much necessary when available (at the very least to prevent brain, blood or bone metastasis). But, well, I'm currently dreaming.. while half awake.
