Your "harsh" judgment of Schoell and Nelson looks prescient at the moment but I have seen incredible comebacks that few would have imagined.

I still recall quite vividly the joy when Steve Jobs was fired to be replaced by a guy who knew how to do business right.

I really don't know why Harry's grotesquely flawed invention didn't get more analytical skepticism from knowledgeable folk but the idea of a waste heat engine is hardly novel by itself.
