The two companies that have been suspended by the SEC had nothing to do with the industry they are in.

From the SEC website: "The mission of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitate capital formation."

If you read the second paragraph of the suspension orders it explains the reason for suspension.

The SEC is doing its job, trying to keep the securities market on the up and up.

Violations of Federal law having to do with Marijuana itself will be handled by the DEA.
