Thoughts out loud as I have been thinking in depth about all scenarios of what they have in store for FNMA & FMCC.
The first question I have is the following:
- Why would the government that is supposed to be "Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the Earth." - Abraham Lincoln Keep this planned secret from their people when they (the gov’t are suppose to work for the benefit of all people.
(Extracted from an old article)Yesterday in The New York Times, columnist Gretchen Morgenson confirmed that the US Treasury has no intention of returning the mounting profits of the federally chartered housing agencies, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, to shareholders. In her fine comment, “The Untouchable Profits of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac,” she reveals that Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner approved a policy that ensures that the “existing common equity holders will not have access to any positive earnings from the G.S.E.’s in the future.”
"If Treasury was so uncertain of GSE future, as it just stated, why did it need to seize surreptitiously such unforeseeable earnings, especially with zero public policy governance and disclosure? Either liquidate under receivership, or conserve for debt and equity claimants under conservatorship. Treasury did half and half, skimming the earnings but keeping the liabilities off the US balance sheet. It was a revenue grab, violating the Constitution… The core issue is following the asset conservation and shareholder disclosure rules which you set for others to meet. Because the GSE are public shareholder companies, their governance is not exempt from federal investor-protection laws.”
All I want is a good justifiable reason to why I should lose my hard earned money that I worked for everyday I got out of bed, got in my car heading for work not knowing if will every come home due to a car accident or a plane crash.
What did I do, as a fire fighter, school teacher, Policeman, Nurse, business man...in simple English a hard working honest human being who earned my money rightful with my own hard work and with sweat coming out of my body.
I just need an answer...no matter where I looked; who I asked, what I read and where I searched...I could not find an answer...But the one I did find was so painful to hear...why? Because it was a lie and I don't do well with lies....I would rather die than lie or someone lie to me...
Here is what they told me" They told me that they are going to make my shares worthless to protect "Taxpayers"...I looked at myself in the mirror and I asked myself in shock...am I a taxpayer?
Knowing that I just filed my taxes and all along I have paid taxes out of every pay check that I worked hard for.
I need help to find out if I am a human being, if I deserve to be alive as my own government tells me that I am not a taxpayer. That my money that I have is not deserved and it should be taken away from me without just cause or compensation.
I urge every politician, leader and/or anyone that has any power to save the American Dream and serve this country and its people to stand up even when it is hard to do so...Just like to many employees at FNMA & FMCC want to speak up but they can't because they have houses, cars to pay for and children to raise.
When money is involved it takes courage for people to stand up and utter the truth...comfort sets in...Comfort, comfort, comfort my friend is what makes our leader take actions that do not serve those that are the force that drives this country’s economy...
Think about it for a sec...
Tell all the people that work at all the fast food restaurants, every wall mart, every Costco, Every whole foods, Every Safe way, every shell, mobile, sunoco gas station, every truck driver and the list goes on...to stop working for a day, a week or a month and see what happens to our politicians...they will be on their knees begging for forgivness.
DO YOU THINK THOSE IN POWER CAN SEE THEIR SHARES IN THE COMPANIES THEY ARE INVESTED GROW, OR DO YOU THINK THEY CAN JUSTIFY THEIR BIG FAT SALARIES..."THE ANSWER MY FREINDS IS ABCOULTLY NOT!!!!"
Our united message to them is: We know you have gotten used to your life style and you always need more because we know what greed/money does...it breaks families apart, separates husband and wife, makes a brother forget his own flesh and blood brother...
My dear government let me remind you that you are not more powerful than the people you rule...once you push our buttons far enough, you will wake the giant in us and all I have to say to you when this happens...may the universe have mercy on your bodies and souls.
