Remember that those slides from IDF talk about tablets.

Intel is crazy if it thinks it's going to successfully fight a Snapdragon 808/810 on 20nm with Moorefield.

That being said, while I am positive on the stock after the earnings report, I am really beginning to lose faith in a lot of the claims that the company has made with respect to mobile mobile and manufacturing technology.

But hey, I've made tons of money on companies that turned out to be good stocks even if the underlying businesses weren't so great (but went from "horrible" to "much less bad") and I've had good companies that deliver underperform as investments (because WS was already onto how good those companies were).

The market was pricing in relative disaster for Intel for the last couple of years, and now that the PC market isn't so disastrous, ARM server threat has proven nonexistent, and even some progress is being made in mobile the stock is being repriced upwards. I think there is a solid shot of move to $30+, or another 11% gain for the year.

And, you know what? As long as there is a "disconnect" to exploit in terms of stock price v.s. financial reality, then a stock is a good investment. There is probably a disconnect with Intel until we get to about the $32-$33 level. When we get to that point, it'll be worth re-examining the underlying story with market perception to see if there still remains a gap.
