This is stirring up something I occasionally consider, and particularly had been thinking along with this talk earlier today. If FnF management were allowed to act on behalf of the corporations as they would in a normal situation, I imagine they would be in the midst of a PR campaign that would truly show everyone what has happened.

Unfortunately, those who are in the best position to do this on our behalf have their hands tied behind their backs and muzzles clamped over their mouths. The management have been legally bound to the whims of the conservator instead of to the health of the corporations, with said conservator not performing the duties the law has prescribed for the conservator. Even now, I am getting that surreal feeling again, that even though what I am typing fairly well corresponds to the actual state of reality, it sounds almost like some ridiculous script that Hollywood would never buy. (BTW, I like to think of Lionel Barrymore as the evil Mr. Potter in "It's a Wonderful Life" when I think of the bad guys in this story.)

I am pretty sure that most of the good people at FnF would love to come out swinging and could really make a huge difference if they are ever able to do so. That said, I applaud Mr. Nader, Mr. Pagliara, and everyone who continues to try to get this story across and make a difference. But just imagine if the people who actually are living the day to day at FnF were allowed to promote and defend the businesses, well, I guess this is another dream that will hopefully one day come true.
