The Short Story Edited to include today:
Today's volume was 57.70% of Ave. Daily Vol.
Daily Volume has been running around 25% to almost 50 % of daily average. CPST needs large volume to push the pps up. Average Daily Volume is 10.99M depending on the time frame you use.
The Shorters are taking around 50% each day, covering and undermining the bid.
The squeeze on the shorters has almost doubled this month to +78 but that is very weak pressure on the shorters
CPST is still in full consolidation, Short, Intermediate and Long Term. Volatility has been medium for 2 days, with the 10,20,and 40 day volatility still decreasing.
This indicates a significant move is expected. This most recent move down is not the significant move, imo.
Today seems to be behaving stronger. Volumm at about 6M.
