The timing isn't any coincidence. GAC is going into full time production this summer and expecting deliveries of the e-Patriot electric bus by September. Based on the Chauffeur Driven article I shared recently, Carter Read is quoted as saying "several dozen" orders are outstanding, which I calculate alone is valued at $5-$6 million. The job posting just reinforces the timeline.

Liberty Electric Cars (LEC) from Coventry, in the U.K., will provide technical expertise, while the new electrical vehicle engineer will likely oversee the American production on the ground at Riverside. So this is the real thing. Real jobs. Real revenues. Real taxes.

2014 will be GACR's breakout year.
