Obituaries are informative because they tend to be accurate about a decedent's background, education, work history etc. Friends and relatives will know the truth. Some puffery is to be tolerated, but outright lies would be shocking at such a solemn moment.

It's absolutely legitimate for shareholders to wonder how their young Chief Financial Officer died. Was it suicide? We certainly heard a lot about him while he was alive. Why so quiet now?
