With EVRM & its New SDVOSB Status…

President Barack Obama's upcoming fiscal year budget guarantees $28 billion to support the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for loan guarantees:

I think EVRM obtaining Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) status is absolutely huge. By law, SBA Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) are entitled to get not less than 3% of that $28 billion from the Federal Government that is going to be allocated from President Obama’s program to support disabled veteran-owned small businesses on a yearly basis as indicated in the link below:
http://www.sba.gov/aboutsba/sbaprograms/goals/SBGR_2006_GOALING_OVERVIEW.html

3% of $28 billion = $840,000,000 DOD Funds Allocated to SDVOSB

Now that EVRM has acquired 80% in STS, this means that they will have huge portions of Revenues from contracts allocated towards the company’s financials. This is one reason why acquiring STS is in the best interest of EVRM.

From my interpretation of the recently released EVRM PR, EVRM has the only iris biometric and defense contracting company that has SDVOSB status. Also, the PR below leads me to think that somehow, the acquisition allowed for STS to have the exclusive rights for their iris biometrics throughout the market. Read these key points in the PR below in reference to this post…

…we structured this acquisition so Evermedia will now become a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. …

…Evermedia believes that they are the only iris biometric and defense contracting company to have this designation. …

…Now having exclusive access to biometric technologies through Evermedia, we have a distinct advantage over our competitors as demand for biometric security applications continue to grow within the DoD. …

Again, by law, per the U.S. Department of State, it is mandatory that EVRM will receive some contracts as governed by the Veteran's Benefit Act of 2003:

http://www.acq.osd.mil/osbp/policy/pl108-183.pdf

Something that is even larger that I think investors still are not aware of is that under Section 308 of Public Law under the Veteran's Benefit Act of 2003, a Contracting Officer may award sole source contracts to a Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Business:

You can also go here under the Library of Congress to read about Section 308:

EVRM acquiring STS is very huge. This will be proven to the market in my opinion. I think it’s just a matter of time before other investors see what those who are ”pro” EVRM sees in EVRM.
